What is happening to Casino Table Games?| Will this be allowed to continue till the eventual extinction of table games? Is a Casino still a Casino if is doesn’t offer table games? | Well you don’t have to be too bright obviously to use such an arbitrary system to your advantage. The more you bring the more you get and you don’t have to play any differently. | For high rollers on table games the same is true, although we certainly don’t advertise it as “Cash Back” for this group. | With a broad based accurate table rating system offering real benefits to customers the same could occur with table game players. | That may also be extended to ensure all systems within the facility may be interfaced to enhance service delivery to our customers. The future might be something like this… | A list of the issues which might be looked at include the following | Service delivery is obviously critical in today’s market place but knowing what to deliver and implementing change quickly to meet new needs is even more important. |
Imagine driving in to the parking garage at Brisbane’s Treasury Casino and pulling up at the boomgate. Insert your Casino Rewards card and the gate automatically opens either deducting the “charge” from your account or entitlement or providing that on a complimentary basis if you are a Silver or Gold card holder. For Gold card holders of a specific value the system might alert the appropriate staff (Casino Hosts, etc) of your impending arrival.
Next, you make your way to the Casino gaming areas. You start playing your favourite machine and at some point want access to your Bonus Dollars (Cash Back) to keep playing. You do this directly at the machine transferring your Bonus Dollars directly to the credit meter and keep on playing.
Next, you might like a drink while playing. For Gold card holders as soon as you start playing the waiting staff would be aware of your presence and bring your preferred drink straight away. “Hello Mr. I, your mineral water, no ice – just the way you like it.”
For others it might require the push of a button to page a staff member to their location or with some Gaming Machines a direct order from the touchscreen “service menu” of the machine.
Before you leave, you might like to grab a bite to eat. No more asking a Host for a complimentary and to make a booking for you. Interfaced systems might allow you to make a booking from the comfort of your chair and direct debit your “Rewards” card as payment.
Many other issues will also be able to appear seamless from the customers’ perspective using technology. The above represented a futuristic walk through for a Gaming Machine player but the same scenario would be true for a Table Game customer.
