By CNET News.com Staff
Gaming company Harrah’s Entertainment has teamed with AOL to launch a free poker room exclusively for AOL customers. The co-branded forum, available through AOL.com, AOL dial-up service and AOL Instant Messenger, will feature games for novice, intermediate and expert players, Harrah’s said on Monday. The content will include behind-the-scenes reports from major poker tournaments.
Players age 21 and older also stand a chance to win free entry to the 2006 or 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event, held next year at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. In addition, one visitor to AOL per year will be granted a free seat at the World Series of Poker Tournament of Champions, another annual contest.
